Pete was very thorough from explaining how the fans work in general to many options he provided at different price points to keep our house comfortable. The installer was prompt and completion was on time. Pete followed up and answered all my questions. Highly recommend.

Pete and his crew (Ross and Russel) did an excellent job of installing 2 Solar Attic fans and cleaning out our old HVAC unit. We've improved out cooling capacity by about 10 degrees. We do know that we will be replacing the unit in the future with a Heat Pump and planning on use Austin Solar Attic Fans for the job. The crew were professional, helpful, and honest about our system. Great service, highly recommend.

Truly a 5 star experience! I put 4 attic exhaust fans on 3 years ago here in Austin. They have made a huge difference in this Texas Heat. They work wonders. A new roof installed recently and two sensors disconnected by roofers. New sensors installed on both in one day, no charge. Owner very responsive, polite, knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Great experience working with the owner, Pete Klauck. Pete is extremely knowledgeable about his products and house cooling. He was very helpful and patient explaining how it all worked and how to best place the fans in the attic to get the best bang for the buck. Pete is extremely responsive to answer questions (texts)and phone calls and emails and when we decided to have the attic fans installed, he scheduled his installer to have it done the next day or a couple of days later. (We had 4 fans installed on 2 different occasions). 2 of our fans are solar/DC so that they run at night, as well, if the temperature reaches a certain point. I really enjoyed getting to know Pete. He is a wonderful person and I feel like I made a friend with him. Also, he was great to provide us the forms necessary to get tax rebates on these fans. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AUSTIN SOLAR ATTIC FANS! OH...and I can already see the difference that the fan is making in the attic that we store our Christmas decorations. It is much cooler and less humid than before the fan was installed in that area.

What a huge difference our new fans have made already, even from the very first day! Our attic temperature was getting over 150 degrees causing our hot water heater to keep shutting off which has totally stopped happening. Yay! Additionally, we usually set the downstairs to 70 degrees at night and 77 during the day. The next afternoon it was still 76 downstairs at 2:30 PM when it was already 100 outside. The main AC unit had not yet even come on. Unbelievable! And our 2nd AC unit is now able to keep the upstairs at 78 through the hottest of days which was not possible before. We look forward to getting more fans next summer!

The Austin Solar web page caught my eye. I submitted a question and was promptly contacted by a return phone call the same day. Our conversation quickly revealed this business is in Austin therefore not able to serve my needs in Baton Rouge. Non-the-less, Peter spent more than half an hour answering my technical questions about attic ventilation. The knowledge he shared makes me much better prepared to evaluate proposals from vendors here in hot/humid Louisiana. He is truly an experienced expert...and a really good teacher. I am sincerely grateful for his generous help.

Pete came to our house fast, listened to my needs (hot spots over the office and gameroom), devised a plan and had Freddie install 4 attics fans within 2 weeks. Great service and willing to go the extra mile in a very hot attic. Even came back twice to adjust the sensors and make sure everything was working great. Highly recommend!
